Susperia es una banda noruega de Black/Thrash fundada por Tjovald (Ian Kenneth Åkesson), antiguo miembro de Dimmu Borgir y colaborador en Old Man's Child, y por Cyrus (ex-guitarrista de Satyricon). En el año del 2000 lanzaron su primera álbum, titulado "Predominance". A partir de entonces se han mantenido constantes en la escena lanzando cuatro discos más. Este año salió a la venta su más reciente producción (Attitude). También en este año hubo un inconveniente para Susperia, ya que el cantante (Athera) aparentemente sufrió un ataque al corazón y requirió una cirugía mayor para salvarlo. Esuchen algo de su más reciente disco, el track se tiula "Sick Bastard".
Si ustedes esperan encontrar influencias Black muy marcadas o temáticas anti-cristianas tal vez los decepcione este disco. Aunque conserva un cierto aire a Black Metal, pienso que el sonido de "Attitude" es más bien thrashero. Los conocedores metaleros identificarán las voces de dos viejos conocidos, que fueron invitados para la grabación de este disco: Chuck Billy (Testament) en la canción "Live My Dreams" y Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir) en el track "Sick Bastard". El disco me gustó bastante, espero que también sea de su agrado!
